Getting neighbors and friends involved with meal planning on Sunday afternoon saves time and money for a stress-free week.

Meal prepping group parties are popping up across the US. Similar to a dinner club or supper club, groups of friends with similar culinary tastes gather once a week to assemble meals for the week.

We like this concept because of the divide and conquer approach to getting everything made for the week. Each participant is responsible for one or two entrees with the goal of each family taking home dinner for the next 5 days.

Alexandra Corey, from 5 On Your Side St Louis, produced a wonderful segment about one such group in St Louis. In the piece she attends and interviews a group meal prep party. Check it out here.
